traveled to the Best Villages to Visit in Latin America

Overview

Sao Paulo, Brazil’s largest and most multicultural city, seems to be overlooked by many tourists, who usually prefer to visit the more famous Rio de Janeiro; However, this wealthy city towards the south of the country has plenty to offer, especially when it comes to culture and cuisine, thanks to its high-quality, diverse restaurants and profusion of important sights. The best way to discover Sao Paulo is by foot - visiting the Paulista Avenue, Ibirapuera Park, Japanese and Italian districts, or one of its many museums.

Climate

Sao Paulo may not have the best weather of all the major Brazilian cities, but it is warm and sunny enough.  The weather is warm to mild throughout the year.  The coolest temperatures are experienced in July with an average afternoon high of 12 degrees Celsius.  The warmest temperatures are seen in February with an average high of 27 degrees.  Sao Paulo also sees about 135 centimeters of rain a year, most of which will fall during the summer months.  In fact, the summer season will receive approximately 219 millimeter of rain each month.  On the other hand, the winter months only average 47 millimeters per month.
